The new headquarters of Strong Enterprises combines to distinct occupancies to create one cohesive, sleek building, located on Jack Ellis Way, just off of Highway 401 in Belleville, Ontario. Strong Enterprises HQ combines a state-of-the-art corporate head office with a high bay, long span industrial workshop. The street facing half of the building consists of formal offices, flexible work spaces, conference rooms and a social hub, housed in an impressive tapered cantilever over the curtain wall clad front entry.

Natural wood interiors combined with exposed building systems, expansive glazing, and a grand feature stair make this a modern, bright and collaborative place of work. The spare utilitarian detailing of the rear workshop space provides the building with strong interior contrasting impressions. The shop features two 16’ high louvred glass fold-up service doors, which create a clear drive aisle through the building. Sustainable design features include triple glazed curtain wall, operable windows, the incorporation of fly ash into the concrete ad-mixture, the inclusion of shower and change room facilities for staff, and naturally lit flexible work stations.
