Designed with the vernacular of the modern farmhouse, The Buchan House plays on the romantic nature of Rockcliffe Village. The classic, white board and batten siding combined with black window frames and doors give the house a unique, rustic appearnace in an otherwise urban environment.

The main structure is a classical 2-storey home with two adjoining pavillions which open onto an expansive backyard and pool. The right pavillion contains the single storey principal bedroom suite, and the left is a three-car garage and health centre.
